Last updated: September 2026 · weymouthstudio.com (Weymouth, MA)
01. Studio Engagement & Scope of Architecture
These Terms of Service govern all design, custom full-stack development, serverless edge hosting, and digital consulting services provided by weymouthstudio.com (“Studio”, “we”, “our”), located in Weymouth, Massachusetts, to the commissioning client (“Client”, “you”).
02. Milestone Deposit & 25% Escrow Provision
To commence active studio architecture, a 25% milestone deposit is required upon approval of the project dossier. This deposit secures engineering sprint allocation, initializes the dedicated passkey-gated prototype sandbox, and activates dedicated edge infrastructure.
- Stage 1 (Intake & Discovery): Complimentary AI dossier synthesis.
- Stage 2 (Dossier & Pitch): Preliminary proposal and architecture scope review.
- Stage 3 (Gated Demo): Interactive prototype sandbox with 6-digit access passkey.
- Stage 4 (Deposit Escrow): 25% deposit payment received and verified.
- Stage 5 (Production & Fork): Code purification, live custom domain routing, and CMS vault handover.
03. Intellectual Property & Code Ownership
Upon settlement of the final project invoice, 100% of all custom authored frontend code, styling rules, typography assets, custom graphics, and bespoke Next.js/React components become the exclusive intellectual property of the Client.
The Studio retains no proprietary lock-in on custom business logic and provides clean Git repository export capabilities upon request.
04. Multi-Tenant Hosting & Edge SLA
Live client sites deployed through the weymouthstudio.com edge infrastructure are backed by multi-region Netlify and Google Cloud Firestore edge redundancy with a 99.9% uptime target. The Client retains the option to migrate to their own independent cloud infrastructure at any time.
05. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
This agreement is governed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Any formal legal proceedings arising hereunder shall be conducted in the courts of Norfolk County, Massachusetts.
